NIH Funding Programs and Resources Seminar for Academic Innovators and Entrepreneurs


Leaders from the offices of Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer at three institutes of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) will discuss and highlight valuable resources available to researchers and small business owners. Topics include:

  • Funding opportunities for small businesses and academic partners
  • Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and the Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs
  • Drug development programs at the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS), including Bridging Interventional Development Gaps (BrIDGs) and Therapeutics for Rare and Neglected Diseases (TRND)
  • Special National Cancer Institute (NCI) initiatives to support research and development as well as pre-clinical work
  • The National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering (NIBIB) Biomedical Technology Resource Centers
